How is beauty defined? What is formed in our mind
as we look upon you who are Black, Red, or Jew?
We gaze on the face but forget in our haste
that beauty begins in the soul not the skin.
If we just take the time, forget reason or rhyme,
to talk with the person, no judgements or pun.
You’ll find that it’s not he or she you will see,
But the image of God with a mind and a bod.
